    Utah Perfection! TR

The Game this weekend was sick! So the TR starts like this: Friday fly into SLC @ 11pm. Hop in buddy Jeffs car where he has some frosty brews waiting. Get to his pad and have a few cocktails til we roll out to the bar. Proceed to get insanely wasted and then bring the party back to my buddys house on 11th and 5th. By this time its about 230 and we all decide to rage til sunrise. So we get to Espn gameday at 6 am intoxicated and with 4 liters of bloody mary. We had a sign that my buddy jeff made that said BYU SUCKS GO UTES and my sign that said "LSD Before LDS". Clearly my sign was the best. So we proceeded to get even more wasted at gameday. Screaming at everyone who was wearing enemy colors.

After Gameday we took the crew to Fiddlers Elbow for some grub and beers at 10 am. Football on TV and beer for breakfast, it was shaping up to be a great day. So we get back to the pad and more people are showing up to the game and the partying begins. We go to the tailgate lot and HOLYFUCKINGSHIT it was going off! Alot has changed in the last year since I left the U and we raged it with all the other rowdy utes in the lot.

So we all sneak about 6-8 beers into the stadium and proceed to piss off every mormon within eyesight or earshot. I even managed to freak the shit out of a couple when my good boy Shaun who was all sorts of wasted, smacked me in the face with his hat and broke my lip open, so I jumped down and put that bitch in a chokehold and started screaming at him. It drew some interesting reactions and security. But we got out of it.

The game was incredible, Utah a perfect 11-0. The goalposts came down the field got stormed; college football at its best. Much more to write about but I can barely keep my eyes open typing this.

    See you in Tempe.

    Loved that sign.
What a game, torillas flying everywhere, tens of thousands of drunks, and the utes laying waste to those fucks. The most exciting football game I've ever seen. Nothing beats breaking open the elitist BCS against your biggest rival.

Then ripping down the goal posts and trotting them around the field like trophies. Saw some guys taking part of it down my street. Gives me dry heaves just thinking about it.

GO UTES! bring on the best, not boston college.

Yeah the game was sick! I would love to see how the Utes would do against Auburn.

The people at my office scored a bunch of tickets, unfortunately they were up in the BYU section. Best sign I saw all night was one that said just "Heck Yes".

    Fun game though.

The last time the Utes were undefeated, it was 1930. My granfather was a junior and played starting Center AND Nosetackle on that team. My dad has all of his letterman sweaters from '29 to '31. He played his freshman year at Wyoming (1928). After Utah, he went on to play pro in Brooklyn, St. Louis and L.A. I have his shoulderpads and jersey from St. Louis. He was born in the back of a general store in Manderson, Wyoming and lived his whole life in Riverton, Wyoming. Cool, huh? You see, even though I am a Pokes fan and UW grad, I have some ties to the Utes too.......

What a game!! Even better sitting in the office today listening to all my co-employees complaining about all the blown calls they saw??? WTF??? Sucks that they'll most likely get Boston College Everyone down here in the UC seems to think Crowton can pull something out of his ass next year if they just keep him

Great game!!!! a rivalry true and true. I'm glad to be a student to have been able to take my wife and I for 7 bucks! But that is the only reason I'm glad I'm a student.

Sounds like some of you had a good time
Hopefully Urban doesn't pack up and leave but I think he is holding out because publicity means money. Utah will probably have to find a better contract for him.
I hope his blood has turned red and will continue making a team better.

Yeah right. Look at the similarities between Washington State and Utah's programs.

2 teams mired in basic mediocrity most years.

Have a few breakout seasons..coaches look like geniouses to 10-win starved BCS goliath programs tossing big bucks around.

After successfull regular seasons the big programs beat down the doors, send the lear jets, and bar no expense to woo the coach BEFORE the major bowl game.

Wahington State's coach publicly bailed on the team and school to head up 'Bama before the Rosebowl in 2002, but remained to coach in the Bowl...team lost heart and focus and blew it to Oklahoma.

Utah could lose head coach to Fla and two coordinators to UNLV and BYU before a BCS bowl.

Totally sucks if this happens. There should be a ban on signing coaches away from thier schools before their slated bowl appearance. Hope this doesn't happen to U of U.

But, methinks the Ute coach has a date with "Destiny" .
