Picked it up, though I was hesistant. I can say that overall it is better than All That You..., there were a couple good songs on that one. I don't think their music will ever be as interesting as Achtung, Pop and Zooropa, and they can't go back and rehash Boy and October. The album's not amazing, but it's not crap, it's somewhere in between.

Bono needs to stop talking about his albums before they are released...he had said that this was going to be a rock n roll record - and it is not very rock n roll in my books. Have only made it all the way through once, but it sounds like it was worth the wait to me.
I went out there in search of experience. To taste, and to touch, and to feel as much as a man can, before he repents.

Good point, Canuk. The disc is mostly full of ballads. Bono said it would be their "first rock album" and some even compared it to Boy. I just don't hear it.

There are some great guitar moments on the CD, but I'm already skipping over some songs like "Love and Peace or Else" and "A Man and a Woman" and "City of Blinding Lights." Uh-oh.
