I'm looking at heading to Silverton CO to spend a few days in their snowcats. Has anyone ever been there? I'm looking for an affordable opertation with cheap lodging near by and so far this looks like the best deal. If anybody has some better suggestions I'm open to them.

Stayed in Silverton last year a couple times while skiing Silveton Mountain. Triangle Motel was the cheapest in town (not many options, Silverton is very low key / small).
Silverton Mountain has phones numbers for all the local places.
