So, here it is, time to go get the Bro Models, brand them, wrap them, and get them shipped out. Two days ago, I took my Jeep in to a transmission shop to have the lines from the transmission to the fluid cooler replaced because they were losing fluid bigtime, as evidenced by the red puddles in my garage. A couple hunskies or so later, I'm thinking I'm good to go.

Yesterday, the day after the repair, my tranny goes - a block from the tranny shop that had just done the work. I limp into the place, leave it overnight, not implying that their work had fucked it up, just asking them what might have happened in the course of the repair that would have killed it. These guys had replaced my old tranny 10 months ago and so I had gotten this tranny from them as well. However, their warranty was only good for 12 months or 12,000 miles. It hadn't been 12 months, but the 12,000 miles was burned easily just running back and forth to Hood all summer and fall.

The guy just called and said they're replacing the tranny free of charge, Whoa! Am I stoked! I don't feel too bad now having to rent a rig to go pick up the skis and get them shipped. Major big sigh of relief.
