    Word.

I'm a Boston girl, but a certain TGR poster convinced me to join him in Utah a couple years ago. We met on ski (drinking) team in college in New England back in the day. Now I'm getting my pow legs at the Bird.

    What up all,

Guess this is supposed to be where I say been lurking years, never posted, yada yada ya. You get the drill.

Been exploring the wonder that are the mountains of Colorado for the better part of two decades by foot, snowshoe, sled, board, and yes even my fair share of straight post-holing. Ready to reach out and explore a bit more of North America. Hoping to get some good info off the site. Got trips planned to UT, WY, MT, AK over the next year or so. Also looking to hit up parts of Canada eh.

Looking forward to participating in all the "intellectually stimulating" conversations I have been reading for so long.

    Hello TGR,

Been lurking here for some time ... have been on newschoolers for a long time but it is not really my scene as I barely ever ride a park and prefer tit deep powder. I live in Abbotsford BC and consider Baker my home mountain, have been getting into the slack country around there since mid last season but am looking forward to some more and hopefully getting a touring setup when i get the money. Pray we get snow soon ...

Whats up mags. Been lurking for far too long now, and finally decided to post. I like to ski, ride my bike and take long walks on the beach. I also enjoy classy cheap american beers.
My orders came through. My squadron ships out tomorrow. We're bombing the storage depots at Daiquiri at 1800 hours. We're coming in from the north, below their radar.

    First Post!

...No Wait, what? Shit, nevermind I'm on the 30th page...

Hiya sukkas. Been lingering around, reading the forums for a while and just decided to join the community. [welcome me with a smack across the face and a tasty local brew plz]

Anyway, I work at a ski/bike shop in Cherry Hill, NJ as a lease/rental fag and amateur boot fitter (i know my place) and have worked there for 3 years now. I work directly under the past VP of Tecnica, so I'd say it's a reputable shop.

I know this is mainly a (mid)Westy forum, but I come out there as much as I can afford to. I prefer to ski in/on some sick pow-pow but it's hard to find around where I'm at.

Bleh, whatever... Time for my first real thread... peas out!

Hey all. I'm in Yewtah, and have been for twenty something years. Grew up skiing at The Bird and the 'Tude. Worked in a ski shop in Park City for a bunch of years, then got another job and a family. My wife and I quit skiing when our daughter was born. Stupid. Getting back into it this year and looking forward to it. I can't believe I stayed away so long. Never again.

Hello, i have spent my life skiing in the east and occasional trips out west. East was mainly restricted to southern Vermont and local hills; last year i dragged the family up to Jay for a deep late march storm that redefined eastern skiing for all of us.

Taos, Crested Butte, Telluride, Whistler, Snowbird/Alta are some of my other favorite places to ski.

I hope to make good use of the next couple years to move closer to the mountains, ski more, and hike/skin for turns.

I ski & snowboard, and I think I'll probably be getting even more obsessed with snow sports now.

A little about myself. Been in Denver for a while, before that lived in SW Colorado. Originally from Chi Town (years and years ago).

Been on Tele since 1996 and have never looked back. Ski the Jane and Copper but mix it up as well.

Good to be on this board!

Um, I suppose one could always just post in the thread without reading it:

I used to be a member here years ago but don't use my old email anymore so have no clue what my old log in/password was. Been lurking for a bit and figured I might as well start a new name over here.

Well, here goes my jong'd out intro to the forums... HOWDY!
I have been lurking for exactly one day after discovering this forum by someone posting a link from biglines.com... Man I thought that forum was decent until I found you guys. The activity here makes all other sites look like ghost towns.
I think it's safe to say that I am hooked. Currently living in Banff AB and it's cold as balls here lately, but hope to have some action when it "warms up" to -15 in the coming week.

    CHEERS,

    Your latest JONG'd out powder-addict.

Grew up in Golden, CO. Remember when I-70 was a ghost town and Berthod Pass had the best sloppy joes for a buck fity. Live in Bozeman now...20 min. to Bridger. Plenty of time inbounds. Looking to connect with a few folks to help me learn the mtn. better. Cheers.

Time for my first post.. my name's Adam, I've been lurking here for a while and decided it was finally time to actually start contributing. I'm living in Virginia now so I don't ski nearly as much as I'd like but I am able to get in a few trips here or there. Hoping to make a job transition out to Colorado or Utah in the near future but for now I'm stuck in ski-free zone trying to make the most of it.

    Lurker gives in

Long time lurker, finaly decided to come clean and become a maggot. Along with the many hours of entertainment this board has given me it has also been a great source of obscure knowledge, norse legendry, asshattery and jongism's. I can only hope to keep up with the truely inspired antics of the rest of you maggots, or at least keep from being flamed.
