Well im having a Mexican Fiesta next week to show these muther fackers what mexican food is all about. i just can't seem to find anything spicy around here. Damn, argentines are such wussies when it comes to spicey food. But my friends are limited to Mr. & Mrs. Enlosandes and a couple locals.

Yossarian: I might still be here late Aug & Sept. Still deciding whether or not to make it back before the next burn. My 12-month plane ticket expires end of Sept. I think i might have to skip BM this year for the chance of some epic backcountry 'round these parts. And if Enlosandes buys a boat, that might mean first decents.

Is there a Peruvian market anywhere? You can find great chiles (Aji), as well as stuff for Tamales, and a few other similar spicier dishes. Tina's and Chileno's eat fresh, but m-fuckin' BLAND, usually...

yeah, aji everywhere, but about as hot as the avocados. me thinks i found a market selling jalepenos, though. mexican fiesta coming together soon. have cumin, black beans, peno's, rapiditos(tortillas), ....just have to decide which meat is the best. thinking about just going with standard lomo, the good stuff.

and just found another english-speaking neighbor to join our club. he biked down here from michigan...wtf!!!????

michigan to punta arenas(southern chile) to be exact, on a $300 bike. hardcore if you ask me. but can he handle my salsa?

Hey! My name is Nadia... I ski / race out of Whistler, BC. My buddy Dave told me to check out this place, after going riding with some cool guys that he met through here. I love riding big mountain, and shredding pow. I've met Spark, 2-Czech, DirtyBrian and a fellow named Richard from the lowermainland. Hi everyone,

I'm a skier from France but I've relatives in the US. I usually ski in the French alps : Les Arcs (my favorite place), Le Grand Bornand, Vars, Avoriaz. I've spent a year in the Los Angeles area but never skied in the US.

I'll be in Chamonix 2/10-2/23 so if you're around we can hook up. And I'll be in Los Angeles (San Gabriel) right after that (2/24) to visit my family. I'm looking for a good place to ski around Los Angeles, I've heard about Mt Baldy and Big Bear (see my other post).

I'm mainly on www.skipass.com, a french community of skiers and boarders.

I'll try to be an active contributor to this forum.
