    summit county skiers

So here is the deal, my original housing agreements has been all messed up cause the dude broke his leg so he is giving up his lease, which means my agreement with him is toast. Anyone have any rooms in the the summit area they would want to rent out to a full time skier? Or anyone know of any friends who have rooms, I would like to not get involved with a realestate company if possible. Something like dec 1st or jan 1st to the end of april or end of may woudl be great. Anywhere in summit county, or even georgetown would work. Thanks guys.

I'll ask at work if anyone needs a roommate.

I know two guys who are landlords in Alma assuming you don't mind parties and snowboarders.

Definately consider Alma/Fairplay. Housing is fucking cheap there... Leadville too. You can bus from Leadville to Copper or (though you might have to work for them) or Eagle Co.

There might be some rentals in Heeney too.

The paper always has a ton of rentals that are posted by individuals - http://www.gocolorado.net/cmnm-class...=10&class=rent

If you tell me what you want, I can go to one of the grocery stores and write down some numbers off the bulletin board...

I'd guess 20-30 minutes to Summit Resorts. Probably faster to WinterPark thank living in other parts of SC because you just take CO-9 to US-40 instead of having to negotiate two passes Eisenhower/Loveland and Berthoud.

Caveat, I've never been to Heeney.

So you want me to ask the snowboarding landlords from Alma? They are two cubicles over.

I told them about you... they said ya give them a ring if you are insterested.

    So here is the place:

    http://www.zippyzest.com/alma/

    With utilities its $1275/mo

Basically each side has 3 bedrooms an a loft.
One side is occupied by these guys.

    The other side is open.

You get four people in there and you are paying $320/month

Basically the other landlord died or something and these guys were tenants and the owner called em up and said "so.... wanna be your own landlords?"

Hey, I'm nearly sure I'll be moving to Summit for the winter starting in January. I'll post something here or at the powdermag.com forum when I do....
