Now that Iceman has been goaded into stepping up elsewhere, where are we on this?

    Funds Update:

We have 713.87 to date. Some of you have said you sent paypal but nothing came, so please check your records. (Bit hard on my end as I get real names from paypal and they are tough to match to maggot names).

I was thinking that we should vote on the first. I'll PM frigidwattle to see where we are on the $ and d$/dt.

__That__ as scary weird. Or weird scary. Timely, Sir frigid, timely.

Anyway, here's a tidbit that is in keeping with my clumsy and callous ways: Mulletizer is really tight on funds and would have a tough time if we only covered the airfare. Plakespear has mentioned that a bed @ HostelX is available, but food and lift tickets will be expensive.

Glory Bowl is both free and easily accessible - a great time at JH can be had with only a few days of lift accessed goodies. I'd like to see the $$$ spread around if at all possible...

Maggot Charity Airlifts La Grave Ski Bum Out Of Drought-Stricken Alps.

It's got a ring to it....I was planning to attend and do a story for the Powder website, but some things are brewing and I might have to catch a storm elsewhere. I don't know if frozen or the guys are working the resort, but if you guys could synopsize the highlights of Mulletizers rescue, I'd be happy to ask the resort if they'd be willing to contribute tickets toward helping get that poor dehydrated maggot out of those arid Alps with a charitable mention in my story, which I'll write when I get back from wherever I end up.

    Never hurts to ask.

    edit:gimme a call, bh.

Plakes - You may or may not have seen this post before I got that email, so Buster, I'm sure you'll make certain Mulletizer is covered on all extraneous expenses before making the call to bring in a second charity case. I'll probably know in the next week or two if I'm going to Asia about then; in which case Plakespear could be left holding the bag on his X accommodations, which I'm certain will get worked out with last minute attendees if I can't make it.

But don't give my bed away until I know, please...

Oh, and Mulletizer, if nobody told you, they're flying you in as stunt dick for a remake of that old maggot film favorite-

I have yet to send mine, so that's $20 more you can add to the figure when I get around to it, which I will.

heh.. just don't tell Mrs. Mulletizer!

Count me in for $20 since I'm still grateful to the Mullet for lubricating my entry into La Grave two years ago. I can still remember what he said on the phone to Glisseur when I first arrived w/ eDub and CascadeCrudSkier. "Hey, this guy is here and he's wearing a 'fistful of powdermaggots' t-shirt..."

Any updates? How much money is pledged? How much has been collected? Summit starts 1 month from today. If we can't decide on who to send to the summit, I suggest donating the money to the designated charity (whatever that winds up to be).
Because rich has nothing to do with money.
