    The Chemical Brothers - Further

Any mags out there listen to these guys? There an Electronic Duo from the UK. Formerly the "Dust Brothers" they have been making tracks since the early 90's.

(You have heard of them even if you do not know it, Budweiser commercials, Mazda commercials, and in a handful of motion pictures)

Check them out, they just released a new album called "Further". I was lucky enough to see them play live in Oakland on the 28th of October. Such a great sound! Give them some time to grow on you.

edit: Amazing 20 minute documentary on the making of the visuals for the new CD. After you watch the video, go YouTube videos of their live performances and you will be awed.

You ever hear of Thievery Corporation? They've also been around a while, have music in commercials, but have sold less albums than Chemical Brothers (All albums certified Gold, 3 Platinum - one of which double platinum... )

Yeah I love them... Ill go pull up a powder edit I made using a couple songs from "The Richest Man in Babylon" really mellow beats to rock to, but nothing at all like The Chemical Brothers.

    Here's the edit: [ame="http://vimeo.com/11408895"]Brundage POWDER! - May 1st 2010 - GoPro POV on Vimeo[/ame]

    Not sure how to embed.

The Crystal Method is similar to the Chemical Brothers too, esp. the earlier Chem Bros.

I used to love this album. Actually I had a ton of them and still do but this DJ mix I just couldn't stop listening to. Think the album was a good solid 40+ minutes non-stop or so, I don't know what happened to my copy.

Couple buddys of mine just saw them at Burning Man and said the same thing... I haven't listened to much of them though.

I'm a massive fan....couldn't make it to the Oakland show but have seen them in the past and I highly recommend seeing them.

Anyways, the new cd has a special edition that includes a dvd with all the videos that accompany the new songs.

A buddy of mine scored a demo of their first cd "exit planet dust" (my favorite) back in '95, and I have been listening to them ever since. Don't think I would have found them on my own. Good stuff.
Have not listened to the new album. I Will have to check it out.
