    Gauley Fest mini-Summit?

So there seems to be a lot of east coasters (specifically WV/PGH area)

SO wondering if anyone is interested in meeting up at Gauley fest?

I am allowed to paddle now, and skill wise i am fine for the Upper, but I haven't been in my boat in a while due to surgery so I have no idea how it will hold up to something that sustained.

    So opinions?

I have no plans to make it to the G this year, I swore off the Fest over 10 years ago.

Have you been on the water with your shoulder yet? The Gauley can be a bit abusive, you can walk the big stuff if you are not up to it and then there is always the lower G option which might be good for ya.

Yea. I haven't been on the water yet. if i did go i probably would only do the lower. Or at least try the lower one day and see how it felt
I am hoping to get out one of this weekends on the lower and test it out. I have been climbing on it and it is fine for that, but my concern is how it will feel after a long time on the water

I plan on catching a few releases, but like ScottyB have stayed far away from the G-Fest weekend shitshow for many years now.

I go to Mexico a LOT. Those vehicle are rolling death traps and it seems be to okay with Mexicans to drive while intoxicated. It's only serious when someone driving drunk kills another. (remember the tour bus that got hit recently?).
