Was waxing mine the other day and really excited to get back out on them soon. No desire to ski anything else for soft snow conditions.

Anyone know when more 186s will be available? Checked all the online dealers, everyone seems to be out... help point me in the right direction, my wife won't be $800 flexible for long.

hopefully within the next couple of weeks. there was some sort of issues with the diecuts on a certain run of skis, so they had to repress a pretty large number of them i guess.

PM sent EMR (I got you covered)
I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues

Does anyone know the shop has Renegade 196cm?
    I'm finding but I can't.
Have all of them sold out?

Probably going to pull the trigger on a pair of these if I can find them. Trying to compare to skis in my quiver regarding size. Can someone tell me how 4frnt skis measure? Do they measure long or short? Example my 195 s7s actually measure 191 tip to tail. Much appreciated.

Some straight-pull tip-to-tail measurements of the 4frnts I have in my ski closet:

    10/11 Renegade 186 - 185 cm
10/11 EHP 186 - 184 cm (this is ski apparently lost 1 cm of length with the addition of the plastic tail insert in 10/11)
    10/11 Turbo 182 - 180 cm

do you see big différences betwween 88 and 87 on soft stuff ?
    Just saw this.

Don't know, I haven't skied them yet. I had to remount because of some binding issues, went 1cm back because of hole conflicts. I was going for 87 to 87.5 the first time, but due to a stretchy tape measure (seriously, poor idea) I ended up at pretty much bang on 88. FWIW, I really liked them at 88, and if I had the choice I wouldn't have changed anything.
    focus.

So I'm finding them on internet.
Any shop is OK if I can order on internet.

Our Japanes distributor, Powwave, should be getting theirs in within the next couple of weeks, then they should be hitting shops around Japan after that. Try sending an email to Hideo to find out where you can pick them up. yoshizawahideo@mac.com

renegades are now sitting in my closet. so beautiful. thanks dudes. the finishing area is a beehive of activity right now, can't imagine you guys waiting on these are going to be waiting more than a couple more weeks (and if you want to take these out in sketchy early season snow, you're crazy!).

4frnt, I'm 6'2" 208 lbs without gear, 38 yrs young, will be using my 195 s7s for every day ski. I ski fast but don't take huge air anymore. That said, this will be my designated pow ski. What do you think about the 196 for me? One thing that drives me crazy is diving tips on powder skis so I'm thinking I should stick with the bigger version.

I think you could definitely ski the 196 at your size. They are so much more nimble than their dimensions may suggest, so as long as you aren't trying to ski a lot of tight trees and chutes, you should be ok. That being said, I wouldn't shy away from skiing the 186, either. You shouldn't get any tip dive on the ski as long as you carry speed. At slow speeds they don't really plane quite as well as they do at full speed.
