There is going to be a free 2 hour avalanche awareness/info session at the American Mountaineering Center in Golden. I know most of you already know a lot about avy danger and conditions, but every bit of info helps.

Oh yeah, I forgot the the details. It is today 11/17 at 7:00 p.m. I'm going to check it out. The Mountaineering center usually has good presentations.

Went to this presentation last year. Halsted headed up the presentation and did a wonderful job. It was basically an "Avy 101" course, but a great refresher and some good discussion brought to the floor. I will try and make it.
