you can also buy tahoe plate in nv or cali and get a lift toicket, although they don't actually say it's good at AM or even good this year. i'm guessing they do that once you've paid. they do have an alpine logo on the page though.
heal well ja surf. spandex is uncalled for this time of year.
anyone hitting the banff mtn film festival tonight
I did the plate thing. You don't get to choose which mountain the ticket is for. I ended up with one for Kirkwood that I can't use. Anyone want to buy it from me?
Still haven't gotten my plates either. Grrr.

In any case, if you're ever really in this situation make sure you at least bargain in a couple of fluffers.

Since I just happened to have the 210s in the back of the truck, I decided, since I won't be able to make LBD, to take them out for a spin today. A few runs to start (at noon thirty) the day and a few runs to end the day. They were excellent fun, especially in late day mank. I was maching and humming and singing "long boards truck, short boards suck." Good fun. I need to remember to take those out a bit more often in this spring stuff. They just kill it.
KW zones look pretty hammered with rain runnels. Still some smooth areas out there, but it sure did rain around here. Corn was good all over.
SWEET! Sounds like we got a deal man. I'll email you in a bit to work out the deets.
Oooh that sounds encouraging about the 210s. Did you leave them in a cave or with PD?
Also - those weren't rain runnels. Those were melt runnels from no freezing overnight and tons of meltoff. I completely exploded riding in the backseat in splat's brototypes when I hit one of those runnels at 20 mph coming through Thimble bowl on Saturday. The rain that fell didn't really do anything more to screw up the snowpack than was already done, but the Saturday night freeze was just pure awesome. Sunday in the BC was $$$$$$$$$.

Sunday was grade A corn in Ophir Creek chutes, while the rest of Rose was rock hard. Surprised more people weren't out there.
Sunday about 1pm Rose was pretty soft overall but some shaded areas were still crusty and hard.
It should get interesting especially at the west shore and Squaw Wed night and Thursday. Yes, I did wash my car yesterday.
Every man dies. Not every man lives.
You don’t stop playing because you grow old; you grow old because you stop playing.
Perfect corn on Sunday ... TR coming.

If for some reason it doesn't work out with the Dad, I'm leaving Friday evening for Tahoe City, returning Sunday, and would be happy to help out.
Edit: Oh and holler to the mag I drove next to from Oak St. in the Panhandle all the way to El Cerrito on 80. Hope you were on the way up
A little late on getting this up but heres some footage of one of the few "nice" days in March...

Hey Schralp.
If it's easier for you, you can swing by our place, and drop them off.
I can take them up to Alpine on Saturday to give back to Splat.
(Unless The Dad wants to let FreeHeelGirl try them...Alpine Demo though.)
HEAVENLY MAGS...we'll see you guys tomorrow. Lets hope the winds doesn't mess with us.
