last year at this time , i was still regrouping from back surgery, still didnt miss the goods. hope you get better. I guess were supposed to be in gimp central, but fuckem a back injury is huge.

Lotta rides out there to be hitched. I may have extra seats in the car for a Friday dawn patrol run to Alpine, returning Sunday night. I'll post up again later this week. PM me if interested.

Chances squaw gets KT spinning Wednesday after this next dump?

I'd say very low. It takes them a couple of days to get KT setup and marked, and they probably won't be getting much done in full-on storm conditions tomorrow. I think low-angle terrain is their priority right now (upper mountain, Shirley, etc.) before the holiday.

Of course. I'm all good, just some ribs and vertebral vestigials, nothing spinal per se but I hit the magical number 13 on fractures. You and I both are rocking opposite ends of the shoulder season.

Any soft tissue - muscle, ligament - stuff thrown in the mix as well? I've had two crazy things happen the previous two seasons, but honestly the back injury was more hindering over time and took way, way longer to deal with and fully recover from than the lung thing - a very long winded way of saying I feel yer pain.

Unofficial Report from Squaw Valley Nov. 22,
On Nov 20th Squaw got 12-16", on Nov 21st it was 14-18", and today they anounced 10-12" more (and these are just the lower mountain numbers). So, I'll spare you the obvious declarations of how deep, insane, and surreal it was to be skiing pow like this in November because I know you can add up these three sets of numbers and realize: "Goddamit, that's freakin' DEEP!" Do you guys think the coverage at Squaw is rock ski mandatory or safe for the newer sticks. Thanks to all for the badass stoke vids. My little semi-chub is is making my laptop teater as I type. Gonna be heading up tomorrow after I get off work in the AM. Sooooooo pumped!
