Kona's right. We need to put Chili on a plane. Works every time.

I think every season will have its own little quirk... Remember the season before last when it was the "What I will be wearing" phase? I think its funny. And yes that coolie was sick.

this was true for many, many years, but there is a new kid in town that (IMO) is better: Peluso's Pizza, @ the Rock (next to Drunken Monkey and the brewery). Dude is from Jersey, and make s mean, thin crust pie for these parts. Check it out

AHHHH!!!!! I hope this dream comes true.

I might have to skip Mt. Hood and stay around for thanksgiving, espcially if the wood opens up.

5 more feet would open the whole mountain?

do you think KW can actually get organized enough to pull off Thanksgiving. Dont get me wrong, Ive skied there for 29 seasons. The problem is that we no longer have Michael Berry running the show.Cohee was a snake and left when the chips were down, because he helped it get that way. The problem is, ill be there anyway because it truly can be great, especially if you know which way the wind blows.

Spoke to my buddy that works at Kwood this afternoon. Initial plan is to open up December 2nd or 3rd. But, if this incoming storm delivers, they will most likely open up for the Thanksgiving Holiday.

Im thinking KW stills needs to work on all chairs including lower the load heights of chairs 5,7,10,11. Last season they did it in a raging storm instead of while listening to the birds chirp and smelling the wildflowers. On a side note , my buddies concrete company sent out a bid to demo the concrete structures that were the promise of new day lodges etc. It seems that the contractor skipped a few footing inspections along the way.OOOPS. Start over.
