Saw the SMS rerelease last night. So fucking good. It’s been a long time since I’ve watched the whole thing and it would have been on a crappy little tv. Seeing it on the big screen surrounded by the music was like a new experience. Took the kids and expected them to get bored, but they loved it. We’re gonna go see it again next week.
They got really lucky getting their hands on original material and did a great job recreating the film. Go see it if you can, even if you’ve seen it hundreds of times before. The image and sound quality make for a really amazing, immersive experience.
