Word is that Colin is to not become a 'cainne. But with that trajectory looks sweet. You should all get a little something something

He's fizzling. Hopefully we'll still get a little something but my hope is fading.

Grab the car and head to Frisco. Even a week sauce storm with that trajectory should offer up some hope at the pier.

I don't drive. My eyes are too fucked. And my friends are too loserish to drive north. I got 2 kids and will make the trip (tho that's more my wife's generosity). Grr.

I've been watching this system like a hawk. today it followed a super similar path to Bill last year, only 1/3 as strong, and most of the storm is east of center. Storm moved slower though, so the swell will be decent. I bet NSB is going to be fun tomorrow...4 feet is my guess. I'm pretty stuck a few miles south of Fort Pierce...which will be shadowed I think.

At least the fish are biting.

Today was fun. Not huge, but nice and there were some clean lines to be had. In NJ that is.

    Patiently waiting...

Anyone think it would be worth driving down from southern NH to the cape or RI to get the front of the swell, by tomorrow eve and sunday? ...I'd Love to hear about what pep are seeing or expecting for conditions. U can't trust any of these surf sites!

I was then planning on heading up to NH/ME for mon/tues

Southern NH I'd expect to be super shadowed by the cape. RI, OTOH, is where I used to go whenever possible to pick up the most of from these swells. If you have the means, I'd go. The Cape could also be a good call.

I'm headed north this morning to get on yet another south swell. We have been lucky out here this summer, but that looks to soon change.

    Thanks as alway Ott!

Keeping the plans open is always the best call.

mike, I've never surfed Nantaucket or martha's (been there bunch tho) But I have seen the damn swells smack right into the islands all summer. ...just to catch the cape's shadow and leave us in ME/NH with knee-highs.

Fuck the Bahamas in the ear. Nothing really of any size south of Sebastian. Started to build but never got above 2 feet. Some sick lines if you were a mouse. Or a Rabbit.

Oh well. Caught a 38" Snook at least.

I used to play that game all summer long when I was a kid in Maine.

It would be sick right now if you were a squirrel. Head high barrels!!

My buddies were not a fan.
