Umm, Firewire (IEEE1394) is 400Mb/s, USB2 is 480Mb/s. How is faster not fast enough?

Yes faster but not for VIDEO transfer. Notice USB for web cam use but firewire for uncompressed video transfer.

Also here's a great crappy way to get a CHEAP helmet cam. Since cheap and lo tech seems to be the way here. MP4 + DVD = Stupid. MP4 + CD = Not any better than bad VHS.

After seeing my helmet cam at the theater, last nite, yes on a real movie screen. I obviously DONT know what I'm talk about. Though the 400+ people there might think I know a lil about it. When I shot the video I NEVER thought I'd see it on at a movie theater. So ya just never know......

NOW you're getting w/ the program!
Under desk skirt shots? Hidden crap cam?
The duct tape blends in perfect w/ almost everything.
Ya never know how much you can use such footie for personal $$ gain.

BTW whats the tupperware for? Crash protection?

    So what was the question?

    Update:

I decided against the Archos, sold my Panasonic camcorder on ebay and got a Canon Elura 65 (very nice...just came in yesterday!).

Now I'm tottering between two helmet cams:

    skullcamz

    or

    sports camera
(which Ripzalot was going to get)

The skullcamz one is only $249. The sports camera is $270. Ripzalot, did you get that helmet cam and have you tested it out yet?

Anyway...if any of you have advice about which of these cams might be better please pipe in. I really like the Eulera I got so far. It is SO small...unreal. Can't wait to get out there and start filming!
