    Preston's Freestyle America camp

Dropped my kid off at the Preston's Freestyle America tramp camp last night and I wanted to stay. They have so much Olympic memorabilia at their place I could have spend hours. I'll have to go and snap some pics before the end of the week. These are from the web site.

People should learn endurance; they should learn to endure the discomforts of heat and cold, hunger and thirst; they should learn to be patient when receiving abuse and scorn; for it is the practice of endurance that quenches the fire of worldly passions which is burning up their bodies.

She definitely prefers Nick as a coach over the much cooler athlete(at least one with a Olympic metal, even if she is Canadian)/coach. She says she gets it he explains things and feel safe following his instruction.

Nick and Suzi are great folks. Grew up competing with Wes, and decided on NSA in Lake Placid vs. WVBBTS/WVA/Holderness. Sometimes I really question that decision. But being 12 years old and 7 hours from mom and dad vs. 13 hours, well you can see why they chose NSA. Nick is an amazing coach.

And yeah, the summer training facility they have is pretty impressive. I coached for Nick at a ramp camp in LP a few years back. Man I kind of miss those days.
