The Futureheads just released their debut album. This British post-punk freakout is my favorite goshdarn album of the week. 80's punk with modern production and heavy brit accents in near-acapella harmonizing make for a high-energy combination. The songs have multiple choruses all intricately interweaving into skuzzy pop perfection, and the cover of Kate Bush's "Hounds of Love" does the 80's vocal genius justice. Give 'em a listen!

"You eat sh!t
cause you're stupid and shallow
but I like it
when you're stupid and shallow..."
