Maybe all those bodies could help absorb some of the current. What happened on the west coast? My sister mentioned something that happened in FL. Still safer than the four hours you spent in the car.

I saw your post in the EC thread. I very much suggest getting closer to the water. Makes it much easier to get a quick hour session in on a regular basis. A drive to the hill to ski for six or seven hours is easier to digest IMO, and conditions are way easier to predict. I know guys in Berkley who have up surfing because by the time try crossed the Bay Bridge and SF, the glassy head high tubes turned into victory at sea crumble munchers.

Gonna watch my son enjoy the worlds oldest amusement rides and the charge the 8" tubes down the road. Looks like a killer day.

ott - been small here, but SSW finally building in again today (and staying through the week). two weekends ago there was a lightning strike/death in venice. we had t-storms two weekends ago, and rain and humidity again last weekend. all hell is breaking loose.

What a moon. Stunning drive home after dipping the head into a little mini juice. Found a nice barrel, and plenty of lip to play with. Glassy as glass. And the water is toasty. Warmer than Maine. Maybe three others out at the peak. What a lovely return to the local water. Looks good pretty much all week as long as the winds stay off it. Got to pace this. Back is feeling right right now. Fun fun fun.

Surfed one weekend in April. One in May. Then worked 65+ days straight in the bahamas shooting for a wildlife tv show. Finally back home and headed to some surf this last weekend in Tofino. 3 days of glassy mornings, sunshine, and decent waves. So, so much fun. Living back in Vancouver is tough being so far away from the surf.

Piggity...had that 5 days in the cape at the start of June for my brothers wedding. Flat, flat, flat. But man I could see the potential. Some sand was setup perfectly just waiting for a swell. Bummed I didn't get any surf there. If I remember the forecast everywhere even said flat. Ah well.

Back to tofino this weekend. Cannot wait.
