Flat the last few days .... reminds me of california. Raining like it never does in california. Surf getting huge starting tomorrow.... thank God I don't live in california.

Couldn't agree with you more .....
about your living in California, dickweed
Amen. Except for the fact
that he is posting from his mom's basement in Bishop. So, technically, he is adding to douche quotient for the state.
Been typical summer time small waves the last few weeks. I appreciate that, as I've been busy remodeling our kitchen. It is going to be sweet.
Straw, the drive is a bit far, but it will be an easy day trip for your son and friends once he gets it wired. Up at 4, parked by 7:45, coffee and such and then lined up for first five chairs, split at 2, and be back just five minutes late for your 6:15 evening class.
Did I tell you for him to schedule night classes. More time to surf.
Another beautiful morning in indo....surf is goin off too.. life is good.
Well that was fun. Any OB reports from this morning?
It looks like some stuff is lining up for late this week into the weekend down here.
"Have you ever seen a monk get wildly fucked by a bunch of teenage girls?" "No" "Then forget the monastery."
"You ever hear of a little show called branded? Arthur Digby Sellers wrote 156 episodes. Not exactly a lightweight." Walter Sobcheck.
"I didn't have a grandfather on the board of some fancy college. Key word being was. Did he touch the Filipino exchange student? Did he not touch the Filipino exchange student? I don't know Brooke, I wasn't there."
Like a lake
This morning was excellent. Oil glass, OH and hollow. And a few were lining up forever. Good stuff.
Just returning from a week in Tahoe, so yesterday evening was my first time back in the water in a lil while. OH and hollow here as well, light winds (though far from oil glass). Little smaller this morning but still solid and glassy for the first hour or so.
It was good to see some punch out there.

Punch? What's that? The other ocean looks to be somewhat less lake like starting Tuesday. 13-15 second period has been trickling in today but only in the 2-2.5' range with onshores so tough to even tell.
Punch is what was around this weekend. Fun stuff, even on Sunday, which was a bit smaller. Inconsistent, but when the good ones came, they were phenomenal. Just about head high, a little plus, fast and hollow, with enough taper to make for some nice long rides. If you could keep up.
Maybe a little more on its way for the end of the month. Smaller until then.
Can't get out there today, but expect it is another fun morning out there.
2.5@15 should be noticeable at focal points. Where are you from in the east?
South shore Mass visiting Maine. The 15 sec only lasted a few hours then went back to 4's. Saw some waist high sets breaking in front of the Norseman today. May be Monday until we see any activity from the tropics.
Ogt River picks up a fair amount of south. If it is local winds swell, check out n end of Wells. Or drive up to fortune rocks. It makes good use of small local slop. Do you have a log w you?
Thanks for the tip, I'll be snooping around. Main beach was twice the size of river today, but that's not saying much. Today. Always have a log at the ready. Tomorrow could definitely be log-able with appropriate winds all day. Then the log shouldn't be needed late week right into the following week with energy expected.
Was the tide full? Main and Moody seems to do better with more water. River mouth only at low tide. BTW, Wells is best coming in higher than 5'.
Generally speaking.
Yawnnnnnnn..... good morning lombok
Rode the shortboard north of the border this morning. Let the hurricane hype begin....🙄
Rog^^^^^^^^^^^^oh ya getting some in about 15 minutes...
Living the life and watching the boards. Damn. What a lucky duck.
2 hrs after low. Is there a lot of sand out there? It looked that way when I walked by in July.
Quite a bit of sand indeed. Excited to see things get a bit more dynamic starting on Monday and lasting all week and into the weekend. Still living off of the amazing winter and spring we had, but reserves are waning.
Another fun Saturday morning. I decided to attend to work yesterday morning, got some non urgent stuff done, and had two folks flake on me. Guess u should have surfed yesterday as well.
Minimal run out here right now. Been busy remodeling the kitchen and sending the fam off to school anyway. Looking forward to autumn.
