How Do You Say Boobookitty in French?

If I don't ex-pat before March, a friend and I have tickets to France (Switzerland?). We're going to be there for 8 days (that's what we'll tell customs), and I'm trying to figure out a tenative plan of where we want to go. I want to go to La Grave, she wants to hit Chamonix, and we have friends in Grenoble and Verbier.

For peeps who've been: what are some of your favorite towns and mountains in or near the French Alps?

I'm sure if you act like a fag, never stick up for yourself and say America sucks, they'll keep you.

You can also keep it short by saying: Le Boo Boo.

I second Annecy. I spent a week there in high school and it's one of the most beautiful towns I've been in. It was summer, so winter may be different. Also, I thought cham was pretty cool as was the lake geneva area.

Your opinion, which you are entitled to, brands you as a complete joke. Stick to the skiing stoke which you are much better at than your moronic socio/political ideas.

Let me guess...you're another idiot that's bought into this idiotic trend of thinking it's cool to hate The United States.

Let me clue you in on a little secret, many millions of people have died defending our country, and pricks like you won't convince me that the USA sucks. It's you that sucks, and likely literally. Take your croissant and stuff it up your ass.

Sorry, you guessed wrong, I don't hate the United States. Let me clue YOU in, it's no secret that people have died defending our country. I have no interest in convincing you of anything. It's one thing to believe in right wing points of view, it's another to spew the crap you continually puke up. It makes the right wingers look really bad, not that they need the help. People who disagree with you (from the right or left) aren't traitors, they're just smarter.
By the way, I suspect you're really a gay socialist satirist. That would explain a lot.

Hmmmm. Look I don't want to diss Annecy and the people there are very friendly but really the nice bit is a canal with a few old houses. The rest of the town sucks - 60s HLMs and alpine overconstruction. In the holiday season the traffic will have you choking to death.

There are hundreds of old, beautiful towns all over France. Paris has to be one of the most beautiful capitals in the world although Haussmann ripped the heart out of the place. Colmar, Strasbourg and Lille are fantastic towns as well.

nice try. Paris isn't third world, but it has to be one of the dirtiest capitols out there. Some great architecture, but you'd think their tax collections could clean the place up a bit.
