Is this still on? Monday nights are pretty dull lately so I'm still up for it. Think I'm going to hit the Avalon show , what the hell, need a night out.

Just got the email today on the show:

"Ready for the upcoming ski/boarding season? Time to get the juices flowing as the snow is not far away.

On Friday, November 21st Teton Gravity Research will be premiering their latest movie, HIGH LIFE, at Avalon (47 West 20th St, with 6th Ave). Don't miss the excitement as the Tour hits New York City with a bang.

Athletes in attendance to include Sage Cattibriga Alosa, Micah Black, Charlotte Moats, Will Burks, Jaime Pierre and Jeremy Nobis

Post Party Entertainment will be brought to you by Rahzel

See the trailer to the movie at www.tetongravity.com

    Doors open at 8pm
    $20 cover"

I went to the site: It's $18 in advance but they charge 3.50 per ticket and 2.00 convenience charge. I think I'll get the tix at the door.

I can handle 20 bucks so I'll probably be there. Gotta meet the Goddess Moats
Maybe end up with a little more swag too!

Done. This $20 will have to come out of my weekly "Polish Hooker" allowance but I am willing to make that sacrifice.

    As for this:

I also respond to "Dances without air in Nikes" and "Brontosauros Junk"
You know, there's like a butt-load of gangs at this school. This one gang kept wanting me to join because I'm pretty good with a bowstaff.

I just read this thread and now I'm feeling a little better about the ski aspect of going to NYC. It looks kinda unlikely that I will make the Tahoe summit though.

I'm thinking that SLC will probably be my best bet for a few 2-3 day getaways. I will also be free to choose my days off, so mid week Vermont might not be as bad as weekends.

Mrs Chair and I will be out in early Dec looking for a refrigerator box to live in.

New York has some good spots to hit if you don't want to travel to VT. Hunter has some good trails as well as Plattekill. Both are 2 hours away from NYC. Bellayre ain't bad either.

Bump for typically unfocused EC ski discussion.
