Anyone up for some beer and wings tomorrow night? The Back Page up 'round here (Upper East)? Or anywhere, really.
Elevens?

I'd like to join you, but I'm going to take a bike ride then barbecue a chicken when I get home from work.

YELLOW CARD!
Consider him booked.
Curse all a y'all.
Roo and Tuffy should move (back) here when Ace does. Tuffy can bring his sometimes snowboarder friend from the Upper East Side with him.
I guess Elevens and I will have to drink for the rest of you.

Meant to mention to you that if you ever want to play some pick-up roller on the weekend here in Manhattan you should let me know. Pretty good games, sometimes.
[quote][//quote]
Well... it is "Manhattan Lite" (the "lite" being desirable in the sense that I can live there AND have a car).
Pick-up roller hockey on the weekends in NYC... I am quite intriqued!
If ski porn were involved, I'd be there. But I try to stay outta the city, it's scary in there.Next time will be Nov 21st for the TGR flick.
Was up at K to open the skihouse with the other shares this weekend. We (7 of us) all geared up to do a little trail maintenence Sunday morning and found out that it was supposed to rain all day and hover around 40s. Decided to bag it.
Rain and 40's is a very bad combination especially when you left your goretex at home. Good thing this weekend is that I won ANOTHER pair of Smith Fuse Regulators at a happy hour Sat. M'lady has a new pair of specs now.
Cool pic with you, Stein, and your girly. Do you have the plastic skis for her yet????![]()
B)
Actually have been considering getting the plastic skis for late this spring, since she's doing surprisingly well with the whole walking thing. We'll see--at least she'll be able to play around in the snow this year.
Road trip, we play every weekend, both days, at around 2:00 down on 6th and Houston. Sometimes the games are crowded, but as it gets colder they probably won't be. Not too many punks, usually, but sometimes a few of 'em.

I'm out Dex. After all of my "costumes" from this past weekend - my girlfriend wants to go out for dinner.
Sorry for the late response...

Sorry getting in so late. Meetings kept me from my beloved internet yesterday. I realize the beers/wings date has passed, but I am up for a little something later in the week if there is still interest in a maggot/minion mini-slummit.
I work midtown and live east village---very mobile.
You know, there's like a butt-load of gangs at this school. This one gang kept wanting me to join because I'm pretty good with a bowstaff.
It didn't happen, so no worries. We're back on for next Monday night, though, same bat-place...

The Peculiar Pub on Bleeker is a pretty good place to go. 600 hundred beers, cheap too. I'd be into it., or whatever, where ever.
Isn't that place a little, how do you say, tourista? Dunno if I'm thinking of the right place, but that's the association I have with that spot. If we're down around there then I think I'd rather do one of the other places downtown.
CornerBistro could be cool, but is it crowded on Monday nights?
Bleecker Street Bar, Von, Spring Street Lounge...hmmm, thinking as I type, Zbar? 2A?
I don't get around much, anymore.

Also, I may not be going to the TGR show. I didn't realize that the venue, Avalon, is the old Limelight club. It appears (I don't know for certain) that they're treating the night as a regular club night with a ski movie being shown, which means a $20 cover, plus a four or five dollar service charge if you order tix in advance (can't imagine you'd really need to, though), not to mention the 6-10 dollar drinks they'll probably have.
If that's the case, I'm just ordering the DVD.

yeah, cover plus expensive drinks might not be worth it. Maybe we should have a private maggot showing?
as for monday, i am down for anything, i live way upper west side which is relatively lacking in cool bars, we should definetely meet though
