for about 10 minutes until steve mcqueen, whom i'm never cared for much, attacks the wrong group of people trying to avenge his parents' murder.

he talked to the killers face to face on their way to kill his parents. then attacks the wrong group of three men in broad daylight.
    totally lost me.

"The Babadook"; really good fright flick, right in time for Halloween.

Yeah, the season 2 finale took me completely by surprise. Interested to see where they take this in season 3.

    Really like Christian Slater's work.

got through an opiod warped archer vice, season 6 still good for regular belly laughs. i can see how the second time through would be good. even now i'm picking up on bits that are ongoing. it's a great show.

Brand new as of when? Season 7 aired this year, but probably won't appear on Netflix until late winter. Season 6 wasn't in a league with Season 2 or 3, but it still had some great stuff (like the Bullitt episode).

Dana Carvey's Netflix special is worth watching twice, fortunately. Hopefully the Trump bits are still funny tomorrow.

Another vote for Black Mirror. Loved everything about season 3. Smart writing, quality production, interesting topics.

Watched 1st black mirror last night. creepy and well done. also recommend Jack Taylor. I seem to have a penchant these days for damaged, baggage laden, socially oblivious detective stories from the UK.

Not a netflix show, but just read that Netflix is now enabling (for some, not all, content) download for later offline viewing. With a little prep, plane rides will be much better.

Anyone mention The Crown? Feed your feminine side with some great production, acting and an interesting perspective on the royals circa late 40's, early 50's.

Just watched first two of 1st season. Now I see what the big deal is about.

The thunderdome/star search episode was best/oddest thing I have seen in a long time.

Maybe it's buried back there somewhere but I've really enjoyed 'Rectify', very well made and the casting and acting is great.

PSA - "The Big Short" is now on Netflix. I started watching it this morning and was hooked 5 minutes in. What a GREAT movie! Should be required watching for anyone buying a house. I know they took some liberties but seems pretty accurate as to why the housing bubble burst. Smart, funny and great acting.

i can't sleep and although i don't care for the graphic novel genre, i thought sin city was interesting maybe only visually. i'm watching the apparent prequel and which is visually interesting but i just can't take jessica alba seriously, even as a stripper. and ray liotta literally kills everything on site. i consider bruce willis as reliably entertaining as anybody.
