    Spam prints for sell

Ok, inorder to help out my film budget for this winter, I am selling original 8x12 prints of my images for $25.00 a pop shipping included, and disscounts for orders of multiple images. All prints are on true photographic paper, no inkjet prints.

you can view images at: www.grantgunderson.com or www.biglines.com

and since I havent done a recent website update prints are also avaliable of any image that has been publsihed, as well as image samples sent via email by request.

Sorry for the spam, but engough of the maggots have requested prints so i figured that I would make them availiable

grant, any chance of poster size prints? i have been searching the web and most poster size ski prints are kinda cheesy or have some stupid words of wisdom under the picture.

I love your work and need/want to fill a wall with some framed poster sized ski prints.

Good quality poster size prints are very very expensive, I havent found a cheap source for them yet, that produces what i would call acceptable quality. I am opent to the idea, and doing custom 20x30 prints, but it just isnt a realy cheap thing to do.

    Grant,

Any B&W landscapes (non-action) in your portfolio? I didn't see any on your website, but every photog on the planet has some landscapes lying around somewhere in the attic...

THOSE I'd be interested in, since they would match our décor. PM me if that's a possibility.

Grant, aren't there some Kinkos that scan posters direct for cheap?? Can't vouch for the resolution or paper quality, but you might check on them and the web for posters.

Grant, after getting a high quality scan done (most likely not on your scanner but, say at Ivey in Seattle......you could upload those massive images to a place like ezprints.com

I use that one, have printed 36x48's from big 35mm scans, I have been very very happy with them. EZprints is resonable in price, good service, and does great work!

Of course geting a Lambda print is really the way to go. I had one of my 4 megapixel shots from my 1D blown up to 24x36 and I was absolutely amazed at the quality of the print. It was a Lambda print from Borge Anderson in SLC, you can get the same out of Ivey in Seattle.

    Good luck with it mang!

if you went with midget's idea and did some big ones, i'd love the intro column one from the powder this fall (can't remember which issue, but you know, the one about perspective, etc).

What Midget said. Also, if you want only a few, I can print 24" by whatever on an Epson 7600 for $10/square foot on Somerset Velvet or Enhanced Matter in my studio. The quality is remarkably good so long as the scanned slide is > or equal to 4,000 dpi.....

I have looked at a few options for poster prints, but like i said good ones with decent quality are expensive. I have had a few poster size prints done for me at a custom lab, that does an extremely good job, and provides quality that is extremly close to that of the slide. I know there is cheaper ways fo getting it done, but I would prefer to have the prints cost a bit more, and be of much higher quality. Granted, Im looking more at gallery quality prints thant just poster prints.

Granted, Grant. If you find a source let me know, I could use some real ski art. The bigger the better, and I'm willing to pay what they are worth.

So just for shits and giggles, and since I'm curious since I've gone through this before but you are a "pro" and have a more informed perspective - what do you mean by "expensive?" Say you were going to make a 60x36" poster as a light jet from a drum-scanned slide - the photog I work for (Keoki Flagg) sells these for $4,000 in his gallery here in Squaw. It looks good - from 5-10 feet away.

How much would you sell a 24x36" print of quality acceptible to you, and what, in your opinon, would be the best means of producing such a print?

Sorry Derek, but if you send me a stack of plane tickets I could probally capture a live one for ya.

As to the requests for poster size prints, there gona be $100.00 and printed on archival paper. They are gallery quality large format exhibition prints, wich for a $100.00 there a steal for original artwork.

Also for thouse that have all ready contacted me about prints, Ill email you this afternoon. Ive been working on a research project at school all weekend so i havent had a chance to return emails yet.
