    Snowbird this Weekend?

I'll be there with the family tomorrow afternoon, leaving Monday. I know it's not "epic" anymore, but will there be answers to requests for change in the Tram line?

    Anyone?

Lumpy: have you bribed your wife into letting you go skiing Sunday?

I'll be there tommorow. Yellow/black jacket, tan pants, either the yellow 189 pistols or some girl-length inspireds.

backpacks aren't too appreciated on a packed tram. if it's a thin one you can get away with it. i'd wait until the crowds thin or the gates open before i'd bring a regular bc setup. don't get me wrong, i like riding with mine. people at the bird don't seem to have the same love for a thick pack though.

stump, i'll be in the same jacket from most of my tr's. i may go for a bigger line in the morning than i was planning. if i get up there early enough i will be in line on time. if not, i may catch one tram or just go straight to work.

Not much, I don't think. I was up at Alta this afternoon (they over-refunded me on my season pass, which was nice but probably not good karma to keep). It was storming like crazy down in the valley and unfortunately sunny and warm up at Alta. Snow at the base was really mushy with about 1/4" of fresh on top of the slushy stuff. It looked like it would be nice spring type conditions to ski in though.

    Thanks for the update!
One more: is the Tram Bar still the place for drinks?
Maybe I'll see you out there - black jacket, long skis.

Thin packs = where it's at. Getting hit in the face on the tram by some dude's shovel blade attached to his pack isn't very fun. I carry my Camelback, camera and some snacks in mine and that's about it.
