    Happy Birthday to all Marines

And props to all other veterans.

Edit - I am a day late, but I figured I would do it all in one fell swoop.

I didn't want to get all misty eyed with the verbiage, and props was all my feeble mind could come up with.

Edit - See Gincognito's post for he is a better wordsmith than I.

    Fight or die

I always think of my father when I'm hiking. He was a USMC Drill Instructor and he always used to tell me about humping gear all over the place. It's so much better shredding pow vs. killing people. I'm just glad that we have something in common which is the ability to hump x amount of pounds up hillsides. I wish he could feel the glory of arcing down mountains and bathing in righteousness. He always said he was going to hell with the rest of em'
I guess after you kill people it's hard to feel righteousness. I now send him my power to move onward towards the heavens. I hope he finds his way!
