The stupid thing is that I should have been hiking at Nakiska instead! Earlier this week we got on of those Canadian Rockies front range storms that dump all the pow at the resorts that usually don't get any, such as Nakiska.
By the time I stopped at Nakiska on my way back from Fortress it was getting too dark to hike anymore. But the picnic tables at the daylodge sure looked tasty.
Too bad none of this opens for another two to three weeks!
