There were a bunch of turkeys that hung out by the creek that ran behind our building. This lovely was having Thanksgiving dinner year 'round.

If you know SoBTV, our building was right on Kimball, not far from Kennedy. Not out in the country by any means.

Not out in the country, but that slice of properties going south from Williston road crossing Kimball and going along Kennedy and then 116 is a bit wilder than surrounding areas and is still a bit of a wildlife corridor. It of course has gotten chunked up as of late but goes into Williston, St George, and then Shelburne. It [now loosely] connects to areas surrounding Brownell Mountain and Shelburne pond. The area between 2A and 116 on both sides of South Brownell Road is still wildish. Before connecting to more rural areas going much further south. And to the north it used to connect tenuously along Muddy Brook and to some lowlands past the airport before heading east along the Winooski. The back way to Williston on River Cove Road on the north side of the airport is still fairly wooded and or fields. Animals still travel the corridors even though we are choking them off.

True. Haven't really been back up that way since Covid sent us all working from home. When Covid hit, home was in Londonderry (VT).
