I didn't have to climb out, I'll I've had to do is hear about the "mini-avy" I sent into you. Maybe sacking up and skiing it will be the better choice this weekend.

Bartender at Paradise (sp?). I should be there sometime around 8ish. Bloody Mary's sound real nice. I'll probably do a couple of runs too.

    Where's the Bert trip report?

Here's mine: I was heading up to meet iskibc and crew when I flipped my car onto its side outside of Empire at about 5:50 AM. I wasn't hurt but my car was pretty banged up (seat belts save lives!).

I'm not sure which is a bigger buzz kill: totaling a great car that's been loyal to me for 9 years or missing an opportunity to ski ... powder ... in early November ... with some Maggots' whose TRs I've long admired. Damn.

Very weird. Got a strange feeling when you didn't show up this morning. First thing that popped into my head was a rollover accident. Didn't want to believe it so I figured you slept in or something. So sorry to hear about this JaneRider. It's good to hear that you are alright.

"We'll be back up at Berthoud Saturday morning. 6:00 am on the top of the pass."

Who is in on this? I will be heading up and would love to connect with maggots.

OMG, I'm so sorry to hear that. The same thing happened to me! Well, there wasn't any ice on the road and there weren't any switchbacks, but I was going to see maggots anyways.

The important thing is that you're ok. There'll be more powder, more maggots, more cars. Just let us know when you're ready to head out.
