WTB: old junk pair of liners (especially in slc)

i know this sounds kinda random, but im looking for an old junk pair of liners (preferably from race/stiff boot). size not too important, bigger the better. i basically want to take the plastic reinforcement on the cuff and glue it to my too-soft thermoflex liners. trying to make a frankenboot. im in slc so i could pick them up if your local.
    gracias

I have a pair of Salomon Course liners that you can have cheap, but why don't you just go to a bootfitter and have them form and glue some thermoplastic on there? That's what I did to my old Intuitions...

hop - what kind of thermoplastic are you talking about? my goal is to try to laterally stiffen the liner above the shell of my randonee boots. is that what you did? did it work? i was thinking that the pieces from an actual boot are already kind of molded to a somewhat correct shape, but maybe your idea is better?
