I will accept that answer for a "C+". Now, for an "A", please define the relation of the axis of rotation to the arc of the trajectory of the object.

Modulo perturbations due to drag, your lipstick notwithstanding, they are independent.

Note: "corked" => axis of rotation is not vertical.

Let me amend my earlier definition to say the x direction shall be tangent to the skier's trajectory. Z is normal to the trajectory in the plane of the trajectory. The axis of rotation is a vector defined in a plane that is normal to the trajectory.

Very nice. Your reward shall be the opportunity to smack a Bush butt second in line after me.

I rule. Though I can't take credit for crankin' the mule kick - that was a buddy of mine. I did, however, come across some footage of some wicked daffies (no doubles - we were never that cool).

The greatest trick the devil ever played was the one where he threw a pack of cards at the window of a truck and the one you picked was stuck to the inside of the glass by Sharon Osborne's fanny batter.

Sharon Osborne's fanny batter = so tasty right now.

(I know you guys "over there" have a different body part in mind when you say "fanny.")

    I know a bowler isn't a bowler, but I'm not sure if a batter is a batter.
