    Work Conversation

So this girl at work comes up to me and asks if I am going to see the "Impact" here in Denver. I say no because the price of the ticket is like $23.00. She says but you get a free lift ticket. I say, well you get a voucher for a free lift ticket, but you might end up getting a two for one, and plus the lift tickets have weekend restrictions.

This guy across the office speaks up and says, "Well, he doesn't have to give you anything at all". I say, are you going to go a movie for $23 and no free gift. He says "Yeah, it's a good movie, and he was there last year." I say you're crazy, first who cares if he is there and second you can go to TGR or MSP show for half the price and the movie is much better anyway. He says, I've never heard of those companies. I say, well that's too bad.

So should I educate my office on other film companies like TGR and MSP, or let them continue with the gaperism?

Whatever you do don't bang the guy and punch the chick in the neck. Foam shockers are always appropriate.

I don't know about any banging or punching, but don't bother educating. They will never understand. When I asked the local shop for the wm ticket price I almost shit a brick. They are definantly trying to target a different crowd. My friend asked, "Is the ticket price that high because they are having a fundraiser?"

I dunno about you guys, but I would encourage a few people willing to pay that money to go see it -- it pays Alkasquawlik's bills, doesn't it?

You'd probably have better luck bangin' the chick if you went with and bought a few drinks.

She will be taking her husband. Should I punch him in the neck too?

    Dood - need you ask?

And the answer is "no, don't educate the guy, educate the wimmin-folk ONLY." That is all.

The husband is irrelevant. The banging and punching should occur long before the show.
Remind me. We'll send him a red cap and a Speedo.

when the dude said "well I never heard of them." I woulda said something like "see...that's why I'm wicked cool and you aren't."

Let the gapers gape. It's what they do. Though I guess more money in the pockets of the TGR and MSP fellahs is always good....

I went to the premiere. It was $15, and 100% went to charity. I feel okay about that, but now I feel like I missed out on the punching and banging.

I've had similar situations and when I tried to educate these people it was just a waste of time. They never really got the point. So, my advise would be to let them educate themselves. But still try to bang the chick ... thats a given.

I wouldn't count on anything free from WM, he charges $10 for autographs at ski shows. Profits to WM entertainment...

If you're even smoover, you can get the hubby to participate in a double penetration, then you can punch 'em both in the neck & call it the "Miller Impact."
