And here I am trying to adjust to summer in NZ on a 7 day backpacking trip.

NOW, crossing fingers that it all worked and I didn't just waste a whole lot of time.

ps. Colorado has 20 DAYS to get some snow before I get back... or else!

Way true dat, sister. You are babalicious, beautifully buxom, and right on top of the game. Please allow me to extend you an invitation to come ski with the Kirkwood crew anytime.

yeah chica, everytime I see those I wish I were there with ya. 20 days, eh, coming back a little early? Well good luck with the end of your adventure, and drop a line when you get back.

    Talking ummm

well uh, thanks, but I'm a woman. But I felt lucky all the same!

ps. Farmer, yeah I'm coming back a bit early... running out of $ and miss skiing too much. All it's doing here now is raining, I figure any one of these days now CO is going to get a huge muthafuckin' dump, and there will be some lovely BC days to be had up at Cameron Pass. Plus I need to get all my AB days in before I go home for Christmas- which I wouldn't be too worried about but I want to be sure to get in 2 weekends of football with my Dad. I'll definitely give you a buzz when I get back- is your number the same? And by the way, you still have my shirt! I'll be needing that back soon.

    ciao!

well, can't say I'll be there much midweek, if at all, once next semester starts- I'm loaded up with a bunch of 400-level science classes attempting to graduate this spring. But I should be there a fair bit during the week before it does, and definitely on the weekends. I'm expecting it should be a fairly hardcore training year for me with AB patrol, don't know how much freeskiing I'll be able to get in. Hopefully I'll be able to take (and pass) one of the early S&T tests so there will be less training days towards the spring when we REALLY get dumped on.

    ps. how was switzerland?

If you're into Cameron Pass we should get you lined up with Diamond Peaks BC Patrol as well. Let me know when you're in the area and we can get you dialed in. I'm sure you already have connections but the offer remains if you're interested.

Hey Tavi- do you patrol with DP? I might know you. I actually started into it a couple years ago, was planning on doing it, but found that with Breck patrol and a freaking 21 credit schedule, plus working 20 hours a week and teaching riding lessons on the side, I just didn't have the time. I would have preferred DP over Breck, but Breck gave me a free pass. That's why I'm in the process of switching to A-Basin. Meet-in-the-middle compromise. DPSP is a great organization though, once I'm graduated if I'm still in the area I'd definitely like to give it some time up there.

I've concluded that DJSapp was never DJSapp, and Not DJSapp is also not DJSapp, so that means he's telling the truth now and he was lying before.
