Sunday River will have those crazy waffle stands.

This is the best thing I've heard so far this year.

Basom, lets make up, I'll buy you a waffle.

    i did vote for kerry.

but there is no way i'm going to the river (unless its on my birthday and my face is covered with blood from a headwound i don't remember, don't ask.... er... don't ask me, mildbill might tell you the story if your really want to know). however, i would love for you to buy me a waffle. we can go to ihop or bickfords, which one do you like better? more syrup choices at ihop, both have bottomless coffee.

thankfully we have nice breakfast places where I am. One place has a 12 egg omelet. It's a great mistake to attempt to finish it. I fear it is what really killed jesus.

Definately my favorite bill/basom drunk story. One day, I hope to achieve the high bar of drunkenness set by you guys.

Cant, I don't think you're supposed to be posting in threads about Maine ski areas other than the Loaf. Be careful....it's watching you.

Waffle Stands? Stowe had one at the top of the Gondola last year. It was the bane of my existence, smelling waffles before a hike, but not buying one because they cost so much!

What kind of waffles are we talking about here? Some sort of breakfast maple-syrupy thing or some sort of carny-influenced powdered-sugar funnel cake variant? (Not at Bickford's or Ihop, at the mountain).

Well I never mentioned sum gay river, so I think I'm okay. But I've become a big Saddleback junkie, so I'll probably be getting a letter from Sugarloaf saying they dont want me as their unofficial spokesman.

There was a place like that in n. conway, but the owners got divorced, and that was the end of that.

Don't worry, I won't tell them you were a salty river board warrior for a while chief.

The waffles are those awesome powdered sugar coated things that cost like 3 billion dollars and taste awesome.

it's more like a snack version, but not like a funnel cake. all the cinnamon is cooked into it. they rule.

no, nothing is as bad as newschoolers.
and the flame starting banter on the SR board has always been by non-factors.

although the brilliant threads bragging about poaching/breaking rules/doing stupid illegal things were always funny, because these were usually the people who were all psyched about bragging what gear their parents had bought them that year.
