Looking to buff up on my rope work and such. Are there any tombs that cover rapps, anchors, ice axe use, crevase rescue etc.?

Agreed. Its kind of the standard book on the subject and covers just about everything. I think its in its 7th edition now.

As stated above.Get the publication above 7th (press?). More reading.
Selters: Glacier Travell and Crevasse Rescue.(good stuff,simple und effective)
A Falcon Guides Books: of your own preferences: Ia.advanced rocklimbing,bigwalls, etc. (actually quite entertaining reading,John Long and that other fella.)
Raleigh: Knots and something for climbers.(funny illustrations)
Barry: Alpine Climbing (a bit dated info on some stuff,but good stories.)I have never been good with facts.
