My brother and I are thinkin about picking up one of these. I'm too sensitive to post about it on the buzz though. Is 9'6 a pretty sporty size? Was in Seattle and near the sound over the weekend and saw some of these that were seriously ginormous. Whats a good size and versatile board that we could use for everything? The Sound, Lake, Westwater,etc.. I'm a total jong'r. And does Isup stand for inflatable. Too lazy to look.

Isup is inflateable, i received mine and when i put about 11 psi of air in it, it is super stiff.
the 106 i got is ideal for everything great, downriver, and surfing, ok on lakes but the rocker on the board makes it a little slower.
The great thing about this is that you can travel with it, it rolls up into a little bag and weighs about 25 lbs.
Glass and epoxy boards are nice, but not as versatile and if you hit rocks in the river, or trees strainers etc you could do some damage.
    Good luck

Flow, Come on up to casper and you can give mine a try. The play park is juicy and is like sufing in the ocean on a SUP(and fun in a kayak) and then hit fremont canyon up with us!

Whats the consensus on this ? Is SUP for kooks in the parks ? Should I just get a surfboard and drop the paddle idea ? Is SUP for kooks ? I hate going upside down in water but want to surf . I have surfed sit on tops and cats but its kooky haaa.

I like the c4 Isup 8'1" ,9 4" ,Seyvlor has a 10' for way cheaper but not as nice . Liquid Shredder has soft SUP from 7' to whatever . And soft regular boards for cheap . A soft board would seem to hold up better for rocks for surfboards in a river .

A paddle would seem to get around easier than just surfing . For what I want to get out of it . Just want to ride a wave and screw around . This stuff seems kinda new any experts ?

Im no expert but I would say with what you want to be doing I would get a SUP. Its a great way to cruise around flatwater then when you hit the rapids its a great test of stability and control. I love getting in our whitewater park and surfing around. With my board, carving and flat spins(almost) are an absolute BLAST!

C4 Pohaku Softtop. I don't think they make it anymore. Its made out of really really tough styrafoam lookin stuff. Its cool because the more you paddle it, the more your feet leave imprints in the memory foam like top.

I am having real problems with this isup i bought. going to call c4 this AM. I weigh 205, about half the board is under water when i am on it. The board is supposed to hold 225 lbs of weight.
I have put close to 20 lbs of air in there.
I know this is a fairly new product, but to pay this kind of $ and have it not float is kind of fucked.
I have also been told now that the 225lb rating is in salt water which would make a huge difference.
