    The permenant pre-season hangover

Anybody else who ISN'T skiing yet starting to feel this way? Between movie premiers and the ever present "Pray for Snow" party season in effect, I am praying for the season to start. If for nothing else, I will stop drinking copious amounts of alcohol, night after night, until the wee hours of the morning because there will be incentive (ie SKIING) to keep my ass at least a little sober. But maybe this is just the sleep deprivation and stale alcohol consumed during my latest bender talking...

    Thumbs up

My pre-season hangover is gut and belt, but the sentiments are the same.

Word. No more of this drinking shit. Last night was rough on me... between the bottle of wine and the gallon of beer I was in pretty rough shape. I just added a tickmark on the very very short list of "keep a bucket by the bed" nights.

Broke a few guitar strings, made a few long distance calls across the pond, woke up Kellie (if you were asleep, why did you answer the phone?) as she was trying to get her pre-dawn patrol sleep. Sorry...

an often overlooked benefit of living in the midwest - there is nothing to do, so no reason to not booze.

That is exactly the problem...we all know what to expect at these parties. Ski movies and most of the time free beer. Plus that your buddies are all there and just like they can talk you into hitting some stupid air they can talk you into just one more shot of Tequila. I hit my wall last night. Had drank so much the two nights before and was so tired that I couldn't even finish A beer.
Not to mention that I have a mystery drunken injury. Somehow I managed to sustain whiplash and I am thinking it has to do with BakerBoy picking me up off of the ground and then promptly dropping me on my ass. Pretty sure my neck snapped upon impact...Do any of you know how tall BB is??? That is a long fucking way to drop.

I thought I was hungover yesterday. Today hungover takes on a whole new meaning as the party was off the hook.

I'm glad there is no more premieres to go to because my liver can't take it!

I've been drinking AND riding. Season started a few weeks ago, which kicked in the ski-season non-stop party. Only takes a run or two to knock out a hangover.
