looks like there is some kind of plate on the 03/04 volant fat bastards. anyone know if you can mount freerides on those with no problem?

I don't know about mounting them up but they weigh a ton! My 189 made'n stinx with tele binders weigh sig. less than unmounted 175 FB's. You could probably find a better pair of touring skis out there...
