Yeah, yeah, I know....search function, wrong forum...blah, blah, blah.
I posted it here 'cause I figured it'd get more views, and undoubtedly more of the humorous responses this place is known for so, JONG away.
I'm planning on moving to Denver (or perhaps SuCo if I end up deciding to work at Copper for a friend from Tahoe) in December and I'm curious to know if the EPIC pass is the way to go? Seems like a sick deal on the surface, but what am I really getting here? Most of my connections in Denver have the EPIC pass, and seem pretty happy, but they're weekend warriors that really only know resort riding in CO.
School me on the riding in this part of CO. I've ridden Breck and Keystone in fair conditions but that was 10 years ago before got spoiled living/working in Tahoe, and by taking trips to ride places like Baker, Xtal, Stevens, Bridger, Targhee, etc.
What's the lowdown on Loveland? Winter Park? Copper? How do they compare to the EPIC pass resorts?
I know many might suggest not buying a pass at all that first year and just figuring out where I want a pass, but I don't think my financial resources would allow me to buy day passes for everyday that I'm hoping to be riding.
Its just too bad Telluride is so damn far away from Denver, 'cause if it were closer, this thread wouldn't be necessary.
TIA.
edit: Don't suggest Eldora.
