I'm not so sure. I'm definitely against the war as well, never thought it was a great idea in the first place. No, I don't think we should be there and it absolutely sucks to see that and see ANYONE die, but if you had to choose between a lot of Iraqi civilians, american soldiers, or that guy, I would have to go with that guy.

That was posted on Bimmerforums awhile ago. There are a bunch of gun nuts on there and they said that it was actually an AK that took him out based on the report of the rifle. That would lead me to believe that it was more likely to an Iraqi soldier trained by the Americans or an Iraqi police officer.
