Heh, funny I just emailed you about attending one of your camps...
I'm definitely interested in a camp with BC emphasis and Avy education. Gaining more of this type of experience and knowledge is why I'm interested in your camp anyways.
Dates you posted may be sketchy for me (Dec 3,4 5 is GOOD! Planning to be there that weekend already), but if I can't do the Maggot Camp, I'm prolly in for the Jan. regular Camp provided there's room and a couple of details can be worked out.

Since it's early season, I could probably get almost any of the people listed on the site under "Coaches" (Nobis, Moles, Cattabriga, Burks, Greener, etc.)to be a part of the camp in some manner. There can be a ton of flexibility with this camp.

I'd say for example that I could rotate at least 6 guest coaches through the groups, and maybe have mini clinics with some others. I wouldn't want to turn it into a zoo, but the goal would be to allow attendees to meet and hang out with some local pros and maybe learn something from them.

For example, Jamie Pierre already told me he'd be willing to do a cliffs clinic, etc.

The basic foundation for the camp would remain similar to the other camps though, with an emphasis on learning.

Blurred should be all over that!

A cliff hucking clinic by Jamie would be interesting. He'd be like OK, all cliff hucking takes is sacking up, now let's go drop this 80 footer over here.

    No problem Buzz, I agree.

    So it's a no-go on December 17, 18, 19.

    That leaves December 10, 11, 12 or January 7, 8, 9.

I think with the strong start to the season, either one would be good timing conditions-wise. Also, both dates are the least crowded time of the season.

I think if we could get at least 15 people to attend, the camp would be a go.

I'm about 91% sure I + one other lurker, sometimes poster would attend the 7,8,9 camp... I'm going to be out that way somewhere, but not sure where.

Str8, I think I came off way too harsh there. I feel like a dumbass for putting all that up, I should be emailing you.

That was pretty damn selfish on my part.

I am sorry for that rash crap, maybe I should delete my posts.

I edited them for a little less assholeness. Maybe I need to step away for a while.

OK, if you think you might be interested in attending a camp, e-mail me and let me know your preferred date. That way I can keep everyone in the loop.

I don't want to advertise this on my Website since it is a Maggot thing, so I figure direct contact is the best bet. Contacting me will not be considered reserving your spot, it's just to keep the ball rolling.

jan. 7,8,9 is excellent. before that, there's no way i could come. others?

and i'd be interested in jamie's session a great deal. i'm of the opinion he's got a head on his shoulders it's just hard to percieve in media. there's a reason he's alive. but my interest in drops largely depends on the skills others will be teaching.

human factor in risk/decision making is THE skill i would love to discuss, debate, learn about the most along with viddy/coaching. i spend a lot of time on risk management, personally, and i think it's why i'm still in one piece.

also, speed management, not just turns, but pretty signicant speed stuff like the article in a mag or whatever it was last year or two years ago, that someone did on i believe a photo sequence of you. they were drawing attention to a skid technique to scrub off some hi speed just before a launch. little known techniques like that are gold to
    me.

oh, and will there be a steez/bling session? I'd really like to work on my style. how good are your instructors pouts? do you guys wear camo onepieces a la jon olsson? preferably in pink, thanks. feel free to contact me on these and other important style issues.

January would be as perfect as perfect can get.
No work, no school until Monday.
Hmmm... new skis or new skills?
I'm thinking skill and avalanche knowledge will keep my ass alive so I can live to enjoy skis.

This is awesome, Gordy, you're a good man for coming up with this.

P.S., Mr. SCA would be an awesome coach, they all would. Straightlining like Nobis is fun, but has almost gotten me in trouble at resorts.

    Thanks, dude.

I'll get you the money soon.
