I just got my copy yesterday of the new Meatheads flick, Schooled. I recomend it to all EC Mags. It's a budget deal of course, just as before, but they do have a little bit of a Greg Stump thing going on. That is to say that from time ti time there are actually signs of a "story", if you can imagine that. There was a preview of "Epoch" which is even more so. Of course, the main thing they have here is skiing, and I am amazed at what they have been able to find out here on the EC in terms of chutes and cliffs and stuff, and more importantly, actually being able to film them. The last part especially hit home after seeing "Soul Purpose's" Stowe seggy where they were here on basically the best powder day of the season, and only have one fleeting image of powder skiing (ironically, it's Meathead's own Rooster in the shot). The longest segment of the movie is a trip to the Chic Chocs. Several thumbs up for this. I need to go there. The mountains look huge, and these guys are nailing some pretty sweet lines out there. I'm just gonna have to convince my wife that I need an RMK 900 now....
