Stop crying. There's another election 1459 days from now.

Kerry took the respectable & dignified way out. Good enough for me.

'I voted in the 2004 Presidential election and all i got was this lousy sense of imminent apocolypse'

It's funny how African American, Hispanic and mexican votes just 'disappeared' in Ohio and NM- and noone does anything about it.

Did anyone catch the Daily Show last night? Talking about the duel-of-incompetence for Florida vs. Ohio, Stephen Colbert and Robert Corddry went back and forth on which state was more repressive of minorities with their jim crow practices...to win, Colbert announced "this just in, Florida has announced that it has re-instituted slavery..."

    it was quite funny.

I don't like the result, but I'm glad this won't be drawn out like 2000. Now if the economy doesn't pick up Bush has no one to blame. Or if we are attacked again he has no scapegoat. The future of this country will be decided by Bush . Scary thought if your not a conservative. I think the biggest disappointment for me was the low turnout of young voters . 17% is not what I call rocking the vote. According to P. Diddy they're all gonna die.

    stupid kids

(Yeah, I know I am one.) Was it really only 17%? I was hearing they turned out in record numbers. I guess 17% is "record numbers" compared to 13%. Geez.

Snow, I too am disappointed the 18-29's did not get out and vote. it's pretty disgusting to see.

On the other hand the get out the vote effort by both parties must have done something because the overall turnout was record setting.

I'm 20 and also didn't vote the way the media thought I would (suckers). Unfortunately Coors lost the senate race, but oh well, 1/2 isn't bad, and most of the ammendments went the way I wanted them to go.

Edit: Davey, I would love to see his source for that info because "The Economist" also published that table, but then retracted it in the following magazine because they said the source they got it from admitted that the numbers were made up.
