Let us not forget phUnk's daring decent of LCC via the road (a key to his being a self proclaimed broffesional), TRUEICE, Inc (enough said), and Karl Stall overcoming his addiction and saving his marriage from the grips of a classic unsmart things done choice to rent an RV in BC.

Shee-at! There's loads of mini success stories!

I remember one JONG-ish MirCat who became a bc goddess after hanging around the old Pmag board. Another guy lived essentially out of his truck in Kicking Horse. Look at Divegirl - she wasn't a skier at the start of last season, but now she's hitting the steeps and jumpin' cornices and stuff as a direct result of this board. Those are success stories in my book.

I know I would never have dropped anything taller then my height if it weren't for meeting up with people from this board, and I probably wouldn't have done any bc skiing without this place. Those are a few of my success stories.

This thread got me remembering the good old days at Ski Chatter where we started selling skis to the likes of Natty Dread, Grizz, Q-bert, Summit Co. NuSkooler, Punani (though I think you were Johnny Bravo back then). Your passion for the product and company we were trying to build, carried us for a few insane seasons. It was amazing how quickly things moved off the board. We started selling to many many people who had never even been on the message board, but had heard from friends of friends about us. Very cool...b
