    Well I'm moving to Canada

How the hell could anyone in their right mind vote for a Imperialist murderer/genocideist?

on the plus side there is a heavey snow advisory here and a winter storm warning in girdwood [/antijinx]

Do they take virgin political refugees who can't spell or use punctuation in Canada?

Kerry voted for war as did numerous other democrats who received the same information as Bush did before the vote, so basically, according to you, they would all be considered murderer's.

You could stay in the refugee camps in Saskatchewan or Manitoba.

If he moved there, it would take him 5 years just to be able to spell where he lives.

Yes, thats why I was rooting for Al Sharpton in the Primaries. Don't get me wrong I HATE John Kerry, however being that he is a democrat and didn't run every company he owned into the ground, I choose him as the lesser of 2 evils. As far as I'm concerned all we needed to do is put our troops in kuwait and say we would attack, if Saddam was as smart as Bush made him seem he would have Blown up our entire military in one swift blow. There would not have been a vote had Bush not asked for it. But whats 200 billion dollars when homeland security forces are lacking money severly. No child left behind costs schools millions of dollars to bus kids to other schools. The patriot act takes away our rights. We were attacked. My permentent fund divident has gone down $800 since Bush took office, that is $800 less I have for college, thats 100 hours of work. A 25 MPG car seems economical. The most 2H2 + O2 ----> 2H2O one of the most powerful chemical reactions there is not used because people can not embrace solar power (this is what the space shuttle uses) EXPLAIN HOW ANY OF THESE THINGS ARE WRONG

    AKPM,

I think (hope) you mean, "fight war, not wars". If you're going to quote Crass, get it right.

    Destroy power, not people.

Focus on your spelling and grammar skills before you worry about paying for college.

BAHAHAHAHA - I am never voting again, that was so worthless. 18 - 29 year olds were 17% of the electorate this year. 18-29 year olds were 17% of the electorate last year. MY AGE GOURP IS SOOOOOO WORTHLESS!!! what the fuck happened, this was supposed to be the year that the young vote shocked the world. Bullshit, no wonder politicians dont care about kids, they are fucking ignorant. Oh well,

That statement shows you either believe everything Bush has said or you just aren't paying attention. Kerry voted to give Bush the authorization to use force NOT for war itself. Read the transcript from Kerry's speach the day before he voted to give the President the authorization to use force. He cleary states the same conditions ( e.g. broader coalition) in which he feels the U.S. should go to war as he did during the Presidential race.

I doubt he was drunk. Judging by his prior posts AKPM in general doesn't have much capacity to think. Anyway, I hope you do move to Canada. If one election that doesn't go your way upsets you this much you probably won't be able to handle many more. To all of you who are Democrats: your party is losing its power. The majority of governors are Republican, the majority of state legislatures are Republican controlled, the House and Senate are Republican controlled. Your party has produced pathetic candidates the last 2 presidential elections. Gore, if he were a decent candidate, would have won by a landslide (everybody thought the economy was great despite the fact that it had already begun to weaken and there were no significant feelings about terrorism). Kerry is a joke. During the primary he was supportive of the war until he realized Dean was kicking his ass because of that single position. Kerry then went to his defer to the UN position which is possibly his only true belief (that's what he thought during the first Gulf War). C'mon did you guys actually think he was that strong of a candidate? Kerry is about as charismatic as a goat and couldn't decide where he wanted to be on most issues. If the Democrats can't produce a consistent charismatic candidate for the next election they'll lose again.

Oh and AKPM Sharpton? WTF were you thinking?

This isn't the end of the fackin world here.....yeah I voted for Kerry, i pouted, and now I'm over it. He wasn't a good candidate. I'm not jumping off of any bandwagons, I've always stated that. I went with Kerry because Bush's conservative views scare me. A lot.
In response to UTDave (hi fuckface
) and the Democratic party losing power, hasn't this always been cyclical in the past? Once people become discontent with the current, and apparenty continuing state of affairs, Dems will likely rebound, I would think.
    Looking California, feeling Minnesota.
