    Hexcel Ski's
    Garmont Ultralite Boots
    Plastic Tyrolia Plate bindings.

I doubt that you could find a lighter setup today, like skiing with nothing attached to your feet.

To mount bindings you were supposed to drill the holes, stick a small screwdriver in them and mush the honeycomb around to create an inverted cone, then pump full of epoxy and put the screws in. Doing it that way you would never pull a screw out.

true, but you would have a very difficult time finding a ski now of days that doesnt contain hexcel maid products.

Pffft. The original noodle ski: "The Ski." Guaranteed for LIFE.

Other Old School Faves (where'd that thread go again?) were the Olin Mark VI GS, the Atomic Red Sleds, and the Kastle 5.0 ... see the pattern of my favorite skis?

I also once pulled out the toe on a buddy's Hexcels. Good thing they weren't mounted right (the epoxy had an air-hole) otherwise my ACL woudda been toast!
