Who Wants the Camera First?

First off, thanks to everyone for the kudos and offers of support for this project. I've been busy at work lately, so if you PMed me recently, I'm working on getting back to you ASAP.

I've done a piss-poor job of using the camera around Tahoe this far, which means it's time to leave my hands and embark on it's journey. It's prepped and ready to go on it's tour of Maggotdom, save for me awaiting the arrival of a NiCad battery for it (currently operates on 6 AAs), and as soon as the battery arrives, I'll put it in the mail to whomever has the camera kit at the time.

So, who's ready for it and thinks this weekend/early next week harbors something worth filming? My inbox is cleared, so somebody PM me with your address and it's ON!

I think the first "offical" event this winter is the Utah mini next month, but until then, there's not much....

Lane, I may be able to help with transport in many cases, if it can be coordinated. I'll likely go from CO to Ketchum around Xmas for a visit to the Rev, and then I'll be in Aspen around New Years. I'll be going to Skiattle for business in mid-Jan, and perhaps Calgary for work at some point around there as well. I'm hoping to make the Jackson thing in early Feb, and I usually get to Utah once as well. They don't call me the travelin' foo for nuthin, so even if I don't manage to contribute any good segs, maybe I can play the part of carrier pigeon. I'll try to post up my travels in advance of when they occur, but keep it in mind going forward...

I shudder to think about what will be captured on film if my camera makes it into the hands of the Icy Hot Stuntaz. Especially in Vegas. Which is precisely why I will pencil you in for that time slot.

I presume there will be lots of folks who post ehre at SIA, perhaps the camera can be passed between them for diffrent perspectives on the same event....
